Raw Book of Music Part 2

With the ‚Raw Book of Music,‘ the Graz-based crossover jazz formation Tuesday Microgrooves opened a completely new chapter in its musical journey in 2022. Strengthened by the virtuosic pianist/composer Thaïs-Bernarda Bauer, the quartet led by bassist Wolfgang Radl explores new pieces in both classical and jazz/pop realms. In the first Raw Book, the four musicians (including cellist Sigrid Narowetz, who has been a prominent member since the early days, and Norbert Wallner on drums) focus on establishing a new band sound. The Raw Book Part 1 features a musical journey with rhythmic complexity, heartfelt melodies, chamber music colors, and a hard-hitting groove. And of course: hope. In 2024, the four musicians sharpen their skills once again and skillfully explore the boundaries of classical music, jazz, and film music. And this time with: Nu Hope.
