The Raw Book of Music is a multi chapter project by Austrian crossoverjazz pioneers, Tuesday Microgrooves. Chapter one (Pt. 1, 2022) is about defining a new sound and writing new pieces which are supposed to build bridges between drum ’n‘ bass, impressionism, classical forms and jazz chords. This extravagant mixture does not go unnoticed and since the band is always looking for new cooperations, the most unexpected thing occurs: a romantic composer approaches the band.

After the first Raw Book, which was enthusiastically received in 2022 and featured a musical journey with rhythmic complexity, heartfelt melodies, chamber music colors, and a hard-hitting groove, the four musicians sharpened their skills in 2024 and skillfully explored the boundaries of classical music, jazz, and film music with the second Raw Book. And this time with: Nu Hope.
